Blast Resistant Remote Instrument Enclosures

We build remote instrument enclosures (RIEs) to your specifications, from 1 psi to 15 psi, with all the amenities you could ask for. We can furnish UPS systems and batteries, eyewash stations, Marshalling cabinets with sliding doors, patch panels, fiber-optics, Emergency Shutdown panels, and much, much more.

The RIE displayed on the left built to withstand a reflective pressure of 13.5 psi, is built to withstand 175 mph, and contains DCS, SIS, and AIS equipment by Invensys. It also is wired with almost 1,800 I/O, with built-in marshalling cabinets and sliding doors, separate rooms with dedicated “lock-out” devices and custom-made door openers and closers for the exterior doors. Each outside door weighs 600 pounds, and is made of heavy plate and blast bracing.
